It is my great pleasure to invite you to the FDI World Dental Congress 2027 (WDC27) taking place from 21–24 October 2027 in Mumbai, the City of Dreams. Join colleagues from around the world for four inspiring days of learning, collaboration and professional exchange. Hosted in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association, this will be the third time that India has welcomed the FDI World Dental Congress, following two memorable editions in New Delhi in 2004 and 2014. We are delighted to bring the congress to Mumbai, a city celebrated for its ambition, innovation and hospitality. India's rich diversity has long been one of its greatest strengths. It is a place where diverse cultures, traditions and perspectives come together, creating an environment that encourages new ideas and lasting connections. These same values lie at the heart of WDC27, where thousands of dental professionals from every region of the world gather to exchange knowledge, share experiences and help shape the future of our profession. Our scientific programme will explore the topics transforming dentistry today and in the years ahead.
